9.00.26
 | Two new reports have been included in Pastoral Care. They are found by
choosing the explore tab at the main menu then entering the ‘Create Reports’
area, once in this are choose the ‘All Group Reports’ within the tree then
‘Individual Group Reports’. Here the two new reports reside called ‘Group
Report with Personal Details design 1’ and ‘Group Report with Personal Details
design 2’ These two reports assigns a page for each group listing all the
members of the group including their address, phone number, mobile phone,
email address and birth date. The difference between the two reports is that
one gives all group details, i.e. group leader, when and where the group meet
etc and the other report doesn’t give the group details.
This new report is very useful for giving group leaders so they have a list
of all the people in their group as well as their personal details. Another
usefulness is giving the Elders of the church a list of all the people under
each elders care if the churches use elders for this purpose.
Also in this update is a fix the Roll family Analysis report and a minor
fix to the family notebook for a rare situation of the notebook creating
unnecessary notebook files with no information in them
A fix has been added with a bug when using the letter program and you
choose to add individual surnames.
A fix has been added to custom reports when using the family dates object
and choosing the function of not printing the family if no data is found. |
9.00.25
 | When running a custom letter report it did not pick up a ‘preferred name’
when it was set up for a person on the family file, instead it would also pick
up their given name, this has now been fixed. |
 | A new function has been added so that when running a custom letter the
‘Format’ function which works for standard reports now works on custom letter
objects.
|
9.00.24
 | When running the all-individual group details report within legend, the
report would show groups who have been made inactivate in Pastoral Care when
it should only show active groups, this has now been fixed.
In the Family file set-up area when editing an individual group name, the
program would make the edited group deactivate after the edit meaning a user
had to tick on the group again to make it active again, this has now been
fixed. |
9.00.23
 |
The PC Doctor program had problems repairing a database
on large hard drives. This has now been fixed. |
9.00.22
 |
When sending emails with attachments the attachments
would multiply on the emails as more emails where being sent in an email bulk
run, this issue has now been resolved. |
9.00.21
 |
The roster
program has the option to using ‘Arial Narrow’ font to make the roster more
efficient in its use of space across the page. Many Microsoft applications
install this font on a user system, for those users who don’t have this font
the roster program will give an error message when trying to use the font.
Installing this update will install the appropriate font so that you can take
advantage of the space saving Arial Narrow font. |
9.00.20
 |
In
the family editor on the
visitation tab when you use the ‘Today’ button the focus then shifts to the
next entry field which is the name of the person that did the visitation.
In
the legends area when you click
on a group to view who is within the group now a caption will appear to inform
you how many people exist in the group, this is the same as it was in PC2002
but was not in PC9re until now.
When
in
a family file and you press the
find button to view all the families available the current family file you are
in is highlighted within the find window, this the same as it was in PC2002
but was not in PC9re until now
In the
Roster program for the format of the names in the output as well as when you
force a name to be formatted upper case for the first letter then lower case
for the remaining letters in reports within other areas of the program the
program would incorrectly format names beginning with ‘Mc’ and ‘Mac’ this has
now been fixed
A new
function has been added to the roster program for the outputs, now the user
can have multiple names on a single line within a cell, previously only one
name per line, now the user can select from 1 to 15 names per line. |
9.00.19
 |
Within the
family editor a bug existed when entering a school year value and you where on
a tab other than the ‘Details’ tab for individual details, this has now been
fixed. |
9.00.18
 |
A new feature has been
added for everyone’s first download of an update of Pc9re, now in custom
reports when creating a multi column report the user can choose if they want
to print either down the page or across the page, the previous default was
only down the page. In the ‘Create Reports’ area when creating a report of
multi column portrait church directories you now have an option to print
either across the page or down the page, pressing the ‘Range’ button in the
toolbar will access this option |
 |
The custom report
vertical line object has been improved to that as a custom report cycles
through family the horizontal line can join together through each family file
on the condition that the bottom of the horizontal line is lower than the
bottom of the lowest object used in the report |
 |
An issue was discovered
with some reports when they where exported as PDF some lines on the report
disappeared, this has now been fixed |
 |
The roster set-up area
has been improved, as certain unusual entry combinations would cause the
program to inform the user that it was unable to save the set-up, this has
been fixed so that a user is unable to incorrectly enter a wrong combination
of information |
 |
When
introducing a special event in the roster program, for example Christmas Day,
and you use the alternate shading option between days listed on the roster
report the shading would sometimes not work, this has now been fixed. |
 |
In the roster program
using an unusual sequence in changing from different events then removing
people from a duty the program would occasionally report an error has
occurred, this has now been fixed. |
 |
A new memory feature
has been added to the date selection of the reports area, grid view area and
auto build area. Previously when changing a roster event the date’s selection
would reset the selection of the dates because it would have to rebuild the
available dates to include the new roster event selected. Now the program
remembers the previous selection of the roster dates and if they exist in the
new date build they are automatically selected |
 |
It has been discovered
when converting from Pastoral Care 2002 that some custom reports that where
designed as an A4 report would appear as an A5 report in Pastoral Care 9re.
This has now been resolved so that they appear as they where created in
Pastoral Care 2002. |
